2022 Scheduled Events

During the Summer and fall of 2022, MKLPA will be involved in the following events.

June 17th & 18th – Antique Boat Show at Torpy Park.  We will have an information

booth including raffle ticket and MKLPS themed clothing sales, as well as

brochures detailing the mission and goals of the Association and water and safety

information for users of our lakes.

June 25th – Minocqua Swim Challenge at Torpy Park.  We will be providing safety

assistance (six pontoon boats) to ensure the safety of the swimmers.

August 6th – MKLPA annual meeting at the new Minocqua Fire Department Statin on

Hwy 51 S at 9:30 am.  Featured speaker will be Eddie Heath from Onterra LLC

with an update on efforts to control invasive species in our lakes.  Social

gathering at 9:30 am, coffee and cookies served.  Program at 10 am

September 3rd –  Annual Pig Roast at Torpy Park.  Good Food, Live Music, Paddleboard

raffle and Silent Auction.  This is one of the highlights of the summer in

Minocqua.

We will be selling raffle tickets  at selected MinAcqubat ski shows and various Farmers markets throughout the summer.  MKLPA themed clothing will be available most times also.

We are planning to have an entry in the Beef-A-Rama town party on September 24 as we

cook our beef roast in the contest for the first time!  Come join us at any of these events.
